3D printing: An easy way to fill inscriptions to make them easy to read

 I printed this Fillet Gauge 1 - 6mm by Area51 - Thingiverse to help accurately model some parts but the inscription was very difficult to read.  Coloring it in with a sharpie looked pretty rough, so I tried filling the numbers with polymer clay instead.

This was super easy and worked pretty well considering how rough my top layer is.  If it were a cleaner print or if I printed it upside down this would be perfect.
